Welcome to the Hudup Camp

The camp lies in an idyllic surrounding near the small town of Maltahöhe. It is reached easily by driving on the C19 about 100km west of Mariental and 15 km east of Maltahöhe. The camp is situated on the banks of the Hudup River and is an oasis in midst a desert-like surrounding.

In the beginning it was only a campsite, but recently 2 self-catering bungalows were added which offer a cheaper alternative for the self-driving tourist.

What does the Hudup Camp offer

4 camping sites on the banks of the Hudup River with community ablution facilities.
3 camping sites in the bush with own toilet facilities.
Both Campsites have no electricity.

Self-catering chalets

2 fully equipped self-catering chalets – sleeps 4 persons.
Both chalets have solar power.
Each chalet is equipped with gas stove, solar cooker, bedding, towels, crockery as well as a small fridge.
